It's nice

But i would recommend you not to use Massive presets(0:43,1:10 for example) because anyone with the same preset pack can recreate pretty much the same track and that pretty much kills the originality.

There are tons of sites that can give you brief introductions on how to make your own patches , take them a look and trust me that it will make your songs more fun to make.

Anyways, I really liked the intro and that drum fill was really good too. The rest of the drums were simple but the were making their job correctly. At the beginning it sounded good but the rest sounded kinda repetitive to me.

It's ok but it could be better : \

Yup its pretty good. Definitely deserves the same score as that piece of shit Song of Storms remix. Thanks for the fair review.

Nice!

I like the tracks that have that "forest" settings , they are the best settings;specially in videogames. (Megaman Zero 4 , Donkey Kong Country, Chrono Trigger , etc.)

The melodies here are really well thought , they never get repetitive and you manage to distribute very well in your track. The instruments were beautiful, i wish that i could create some ambience like you did. I just feel that something sounds overcompressed but maybe it's just my ears.

I love this track man, it's has that "thing" that makes stand out of the others.

and that thing is called creativity.

ZaronX responds:

This one was a little weird because I started with the ambiance and kinda just went from there, but that seems to be working out well! :o

Erik helped me out with the final EQ/compression stuff, and I am particularly ignorant of the latter! But he admits he overcompressed the piano apparently. Meanwhile, I didn't even notice he'd changed it! So observant~! But yes that shall be looked into.

Thanks for the well-thought review! c:

Great!

I really liked the synths you used here. I just love tracks that have pianos , the fit pretty much in any single genre.

The melody is kinda simple but it managed to deliver to this nice and classic drum beat you set. The arpeggiated bass was really nice too. I just think that maybe could add a pad to the outro at 2:20 because it sounds kinda empty or add some reverb to those instruments to fill that empty space.

But hey, this is nice!!

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

That's probably a good idea with the outro, I kinda like a little emptiness in the end, but a lil reverb and maybe just a touch up of delay at the end sounds like it'd be good.

Thanks:]

Need some improvements to do

First of all, the track has a lot of clipping (that little burst sound whenever the bass plays) you should take a look at your mixer and balance your instrument's volume, don't let any bar get red or it will cause clipping.

You should try add more variation to the melody because you're basically playing the same melody again, define some structure. Make your other synths do something different rather than following the melody. Make some harmony with the other instruments and i will guarantee you that it will sound better.

But hey , this has a lot of potential man. Just work more on your tracks :)

Thanks for the feedback man, I'll be sure to take all of it into consideration when I edit the track! :D

That snap at 14.....

was just damn sexy. I loved the 8 bit intro too , so bright and clean. The main part of this song (or the drop like most people calls it) was really nice too; I just think that maybe you could add something else like more 8 bit madness that will make the track more full but maybe that's your secret weapon huh??

I really can't say anything else mmmmm but this is a really nice track. Loved the sound quality.

You better not lose this round, i want to have a round with you :3

Cheers

Rig responds:

I added the 8-bit part mostly as a nod to Suezo, who specializes in 8-bit. Maybe I'll keep it going...who knows? ;)

This is well done

The quality is superb in this track. I liked the instruments you chose, they fit pretty well.

I can't really find something else to talk about it, everything is really good.

Thank you!
To be complimented by you is fucking awesome :D

Nice

The Beginning was just amazing, very calm which is something that i really like from music. Drums were kinda opaque IMO, but a EQ should fix that. The instruments pretty good and they contribute very well to keep that "chill" theme this song has.

Nice job!

thanks this coming from you means a lot to me i love your music and really respect your abilities and i really look up to you

Beautiful

I really like when musicians just let it out because Music is a way of expression. It's the perfect method to describe how do we feel and who we are and the best of all is that people do understand them whenever they do something like this.

I think by the way im hearing this track, You feel Nostalgic by remembering something that maybe it can't come back or you sound the depressive but in the end, that's how life works and by hearing 1:57 sounds like you are trying to recognize it, like you need to fight for your dreams and never give up and all that stuff you see on Will Smith's movies.

i love this track

MrMusicalLion responds:

Thanks.. :) I totally agree, Music is a way of expression, all Art is, but Music has a way of expressing emotion with a clarity that is unmatched.

This was my expression of.. anguish; but also of determination..
Thankyou :) I will upload some more soon. There are a lot more to listen to, here:

Has potential

There's some clipping in this track, i think it's because of the Kick Drum; maybe you should lower the volume a little bit.

The instruments were pretty good, the drum pattern was nice also although i was expecting to see some "drum variation" like some different kicks in a different pattern.

I think you should also lower the volume on the Link's Voice samples, some of them are kinda loud.

The track is good but i think you should analyze it a little bit.

Dr-Dajova responds:

Yeah, still learning how to make good dubstep. We'll see if i make more of this in the future :P
